For a normal week, a day or two is plenty. Our same-day cutoff is 1 PM, so an order placed in the morning can arrive that afternoon across Fredericksburg.
Order further ahead when the flowers are specific. If you want a particular variety, a particular colour, or something we would need to bring in, give us several days. We buy direct from growers, so lead time is what lets us get the exact thing rather than the nearest match.
Order much further ahead around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. Those two weeks are the busiest in the florist calendar everywhere, and the earlier you call the better the choice and the more relaxed the delivery window.
A workplace delivery should be easy to carry to a car at five o'clock and should not be so large that it embarrasses the recipient in an open office. A vase arrangement of moderate size is ideal.
A home delivery can be as generous as you like. If nobody will be home, tell us, and we will work out a safe place or a better time rather than leaving flowers in the sun on a Texas porch.
